For the people who rely on private wells

Know your water.
Care for your home.

Well water can change without looking different. Clearwell is exploring a simpler way to understand what gets tested, make sense of the results, and decide what to do next.

In development · no test kits are currently sold or shipped.

A well owner collecting a water sample at a rural home

Clearwell concept

A steadier routine for the water your home depends on.

The first step is learning what well owners need from a clearer testing experience.

Clear answers for well owners

Plain language. Clear limits. Practical next steps — with the limits of every test kept in view.

The idea

A six-month rhythm for well care.

Private well owners carry the responsibility for checking their water. Clearwell is planning a repeatable routine that could make that task easier to keep up with.

Potential test focus

Bacteria, nitrates, arsenic, and lead

These are proposed focus areas. Final coverage and lab arrangements have not been confirmed.

01

Collect a sample

The early concept is a mail-in test kit with clear collection instructions. Clearwell is not selling or shipping kits today.

02

Make the report easier to read

The idea is to explain the lab report in plain language and show which results may need follow-up. A lab partner and final test panel are not confirmed.

03

Build a six-month habit

Longer term, Clearwell is exploring a test every six months, with results history and practical next-step resources. No membership or app is available yet.

A test can only speak to the sample collected and the substances included in that test. It cannot guarantee that water is safe.

The first learning step

Start small. Get the details right.

Before building a recurring service, Clearwell’s proposed validation is to learn from a small group of well owners in one county.

Validation concept · not open yet

One test for a small first group

The existing pilot plan describes 50 owners in one county and a proposed price of $49 per test. It remains a planning concept, not an offer for sale.

$49 proposed per test

No kits are being fulfilled. The test panel, lab partner, eligibility, shipping, and timing still need to be confirmed before a pilot could open.
